UPDATE ON CROWDFUNDING FOR SANDMAN
Until today, the EPBF has received 9.900,-€ in order to help the Sandman family after the tragic incident in late December last year when their home and most of their belongings were lost in a landslide.
This huge amount was brought together by various donors, federations, members from the billiard industry as well as private donors who felt it necessary to help. A great „THANK YOU“ goes out to all those individuals!
The crowdfunding will continue until February 20th, 2021. Anyone who is still interested and/or willing to donate for Jörgen and his family is very welcome to do so.

Op 30 december 2020 zijn in Noorwegen getroffen door een aardverschuiving Jorgen Sandman en zijn vrouw Anna. Zij wisten, in tegenstelling tot tien andere personen, de aardverschuiving te overleven, maar verloren wel hun huis - waarin zich een grote verzameling biljartattributen en -herinneringen bevond. Deze zijn helaas onherstelbaar beschadigd.
Jorgen is de voormalig president van de WPA en de WCBS, en heeft een pioniersrol vervuld om (pool)biljarten Olympische status te geven.
De EPBF en WPA hebben gezamenlijk een crowdfunding actie opgezet, zodat Jorgen en Anna kunnen worden voorzien van financiele hulp.
